How to Dress a Candle

A- Focus & Intention..

Be careful what you wish for! be clear minded and focused on your end result, also! if you want

to form your desire into an easy, rhyming chant, then this is an excellent way to focus your

energy.  Make your intentions firm and in the now.. not vague, say I will find my new Love, I am

B – Choosing your Candle

Choose your Candle carefully, you need the correct type.

MONDAY. MOON. SILVER. FERTILITY & EMOTIONAL

BALANCE

TUESDAY. MERCURY. RED. TIEW. STRENGTH & PROTECTION

WEDNESDAY. WODEN SAXON GOD/ MERCURY. PURPLE . LUCK.

THURSDAY. THOR JUPITER. GREEN. WEALTH.

FRIDAY. FREYA NORSE GODDESS. VENUS. PINK. LOVE.

SATURDAY. SATURN. BLACK. TO BANISH & TO END.

It's good to arrange significant items related to your desire around your candle.

C – Cleanse & Dress your Candle

You can Sage your candle this helps remove any negative energy the candle could have

collected & while you cleanse, you can also charge your Spell Candle by focusing on your

intention while smudging. If you haven't any Sage to Smudge your Candle, then Moonlight is a

fabulous power source, especially a Full Moon, although I prefer a Waxing Moon, & you can

either place your candle outside overnight or on your windowsill.

Taking a Bath before the Candle lighting and getting in the correct frame of mind is a vital part of

your ritual.

Anointing, or dressing, your candle with an Empowering Oil is a very important part of your ritual.

To increase your magic, make sure you clearly state your intention again while anointing your

candle.The Herbs you use in your oil and the time and day you prepare your Candle anointing

Oil play a large part in your Intention. It takes, time, patience & knowledge to prepare
